The only word that can describe last week’s Comedy Heights shows is “laughs”. Those laughs were brought by a great line-up of opening acts, feature act Jeff Bilodeau, headliners Bijan Mostafavi and Ace Guillen, host Al Gavi at Bay Bridge Brewing, and guest host AJ Favi at Comedy Heights. We can’t wait for these funny folks to return with more laughs.

            This week we have not one, not two, but three great and FREE shows for you! Starting on Thursday, August 15th at 7pm, at Valentins Bar & Grill located at 12891 Campo Rd in Jamul. Join the host with the most Al Gavi, opening act Jonathan Flanagan whose laughs are as long as his name, feature act Kurt Swann who is a very funny duckling, and headliner Rick Izquieta who has the word “quiet” in his name, but not in his soul.

            On Friday, August 16th at 8 pm, the laughs continue at Bay Bridge Brewing located at 688 Marsat Ct B, in Chula Vista. There you will laugh with the host who refuses to boast Al Gavi, feature act Diya Basrai who is a hilarious and just made it through to the Seattle International Comedy Competition in our Showcase a few weeks ago and, headliner Scott Shimamoto a comedian who refuses to joke about not joking and more!

            Finally, on Saturday, August 17th at 8pm, the bow on all the funny, Comedy Heights at 4590 Park Blvd in University Heights! End this week with guest host Kurt Swann- yes that Kurt Swann, feature act Dave Yates, a comic who by his own admission pursues life, laughs, and fancy cheeses, the headliner you do not want to miss twice Scott Shimamoto, and more! Doors open 730pm. And get there early so you actually get seating. NO COVER as always at Comedy Heights but bring cash for tips 😉 It’s worth it.
