It’s going to be an amazing weekend of shows with Comedy Heights Co-Producer Maria Herman back in San Diego to lead an incredible line up of hilarious comedians. Joining Maria are Laura Hayden and Charlene Mae. Co-Producer Al Gavi hosts both shows. You want to get there early for these shows! Charlene Mae is a nationally touring comedian who’s had audiences busting up with laughter in casinos, resorts, festivals and clubs across the USA. She’s graced several network television shows, and won the CLEAN Comedy Challenge. The clever and edgy style that Charlene Mae delivers pushes the envelope, but doesn’t come off as offensive.
When Laura Hayden is not killing patients–with laughter, she is killing it on stage as a stand-up comedian and inspirational speaker. Dr. Laura Hayden is a practicing physical therapist, touring comedian and speaker. Laura lends her humorous take on the absurd, bizarre and rare moments that make living and healing such a great part of the human experience. Part of her mission to serve others, educate and entertain with kindness and humor, Laura crafts one-of-a-kind speeches and uplifting presentations that helps people cut loose and find the funny side of any situation. Mix in growing up with in a shack with a kangaroo, and then marrying a New York Jew, and you’ve hit ‘funny’. San Diego’s PL Life Magazine cover article called her animated style ‘fun to watch and simply hilarious’. Her credits include performing for the Troops in Afghanistan, Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Amsterdam Fringe Festival, Seattle International Comedy Competition and KUSI’s Good Morning San Diego. Maria co-produces ‘Comedy Heights’, which was voted best stand up comedy show on San Diego’s ‘A’ list. She’s an award winning journalist and former morning radio show co host and producer, Maria has opened for – Taylor Tomlinson, Vicki Barbolak, Michael Ian Black, Kevin McDonald, and Tony Calabrese.
