This weekend Louie Centanni headlines at Comedy Heights at Lestat’s on Adams Ave.

Louie Centanni is a Chicago-born, San Diego-raised standup comedian. Based out of San Diego, he performs from coast to coast. In 2021, he was featured at the La Jolla Comedy Store’s “Coming to the Stage” event, presenting “up-and-coming headliners.” In 2019, he won the Throne of Jokes contest at Comedy Palace (San Diego) and was a finalist in the Portland Comedy Contest. He sees absurdity everywhere in his life, taking comfort in knowing that we all share the same, odd inevitabilities of childhood, aging, and trying to find happiness in this strange world. When he’s not doing standup, he’s teaching writing as a university professor or hanging with Dougie, his 140-pound Great Dane. Nothing he does impresses Dougie. Nothing anyone does impresses Dougie.

Joining Louie this week are Connor Castello, Kiki Yeung, Tyler Ross and Al Gavi fresh off his honeymoon vacation.  Both shows start at 8pm with the doors opening at 7:30pm.  $5 Cover converts to same day cafe credit.
