This weekend at Comedy Heights at Lestat’s on Adams Ave. we’ve got Tommy Lama and Adams Ave Unplugged.

Friday and Saturday night we’ve got headliner Tommy Lama. Saturday night is a special night. It’s Adams Ave Unplugged.  We have two shows. The LaughPac show at 7pm and our main show at 8pm.  Friday night has a $5 cover that converts to same day cafe credit. Both shows Saturday are “no cover”.  Adams Ave is a  free musical walkabout. This event features 80 live musical performances and stand up comedy inside restaurants, bars, and coffee houses along a two-mile stretch of Adams Avenue from University Heights on the West, through Normal Heights, and into parts of Kensington to the East. It also has performances outdoors at various patio locations, including the Smitty’s Food Court and Lestat’s Coffeehouse.

A comedy veteran of over 20 years Tommy Lama began in his hometown of New York City.  He also starred in productions of Shakespeare in NYC. After developing his “Hey Tommy” character, he was featured on the Bob & Tom Show and Blue Collar Radio and performed around the world for the troops. Not to mention, he won the prestigious Seattle Comedy Competition, and best comedian at the Boston Comedy Festival , Ventura Comedy Festival, and the LA Comedy Awards.

Joining Tommy are the hilarious Katherine Yoon, D!ce Alexander, Claire Doty Al Gavi and the LaughPac.  Saturday night we have a special LaughPac show at 7pm with Erasmo Ramos, Hao Tu, Dinaz, Chrissy Castriota, Dan Yourg, Chris Angell, Margaret Star and All Munguia.  The main shows start at 8pm.
