One comedian has spent more than 20 years doing stand up, performed Shakespeare in New York and entertained troops around the world. Another is an opera trained soprano who writes comedy songs about relationships, motherhood, mental health and what she calls the emotional whiplash of being highly trained and deeply unhinged. So Friday and Saturday at Lestat’s should be interesting.

Tommy Savitt comes to Comedy Heights with more than two decades behind the microphone. He started in New York City, developed his “Hey Tommy” character, appeared on the Bob & Tom Show and Blue Collar Radio, and performed for American troops around the world. He has also won the Seattle Comedy Competition and earned top comedian honors at the Boston Comedy Festival, Ventura Comedy Festival and LA Comedy Awards. Tommy Savitt Bio

Margaret Star brings something Comedy Heights audiences don’t get every weekend. She’s a San Diego musical comedian and opera trained soprano who mixes original songs with conversational stand up. Margaret is a regular at Comedy Heights and Mic Drop Comedy Club, and she produces the musical comedy show Pitch, Please. Margaret Star Bio

Also joining the shows are The Laugh Pac and Al Gavi. Between Tommy’s years on the road, Margaret’s musical comedy and the rest of the lineup, there should be plenty of reasons to keep paying attention. Because sometimes at Comedy Heights you don’t know whether the next person is going to tell a joke, tell a story or hit a high C.
