CARA ROSELLINI is a stand up comedian, actor and writer who started her career in Los Angeles and continues to work in Seattle. Her dry style and sharp writing keeps a captive audience laughing…or at least curious. She was recently a semi-finalist in Washington’s Funniest Mammal Competition, has competed in the Seattle Comedy Competition and is a regular feature and headliner in Washington clubs such as Laugh’s and Club Comedy. Cara has performed up and down the west coast including the Laugh Factory, the Hollywood Improv, the Comedy Store and Rooster T. Feathers. She has also performed in various bookstores, bars, restaurants, living rooms and a van (two drink minimum). Cara has written, produced and starred in numerous short films including Husbands and Wives and Brilliant Bookclubbers (to name a few), both of which were accepted and recognized in multiple film festivals. As a stage actor she recently completed a run of Shakespeare’s Pericles and has starred in Beyond Therapy, Collected Stories and That May Well Be True, written and directed by Jay Reiss. Cara can also be found at a nearby coffee shop drafting new jokes, reviewing and editing scripts or writing and publishing children’s books.
Joining Cara this weekend are Pippa Spindel, Jimmy Berry, The Laugh Pac and Al Gavi. Show time 8pm with the doors opening at 7:30pm. $5 cover converts to same day cafe credit.
