This weekend at Comedy Heights at Lestat’s on Adams Ave. we bring you the hilarious trio of Raymond Lau, Jonathan Flanagan and Theodore Taylor along with Jeff Epstein and Al Gavi.  Doors open at 7:30pm with the shows starting at 8pm.  $5 cover converts to same day cafe credit.

Ray Lau is a Cantonese American standup comedian. His style has been praised by audiences for being unique, relatable, lighthearted, and playful. Ray’s most viral joke is about the “Chipotle Bean Scheme” and has been seen millions of times online. He has recently recorded a secret set for Don’t Tell Comedy. You can often see him performing live across Southern California on the stages of Don’t Tell Comedy, The Hollywood Improv, and many more

Jonathan Flanagan is a Los Angeles-based comedian, writer, and actor. He is best known for his stand up comedy appearances that deliver a unique style of alternative and mainstream comedy which stem from the start of his career in improv at UCB, IO West, and Second City. As a touring comedian, Jonathan has graced international stages— most recently, the Edinburgh Fringe Festival with other major performances at the San Francisco Sketch Fest, Gilda’s Laugh Fest, The World Famous Comedy Store, and Ice House Pasadena where he hosts “Trigger Warning: LA’s most and least o ensive comedy show.” Jonathan has appeared in feature films including And Then There Was Eve and The Fun House Massacre, viral video content for Buzz Feed, Best LA, and commercial spots alongside Oakland Raiders Quarterback, Derrick Carr and the fastest-growing Napa Valley Winery— ONEHOPE Wine.

Taylor captivates audiences with his unique blend of theatrical storytelling and sharp observational humor, drawing inspiration from his relationships with family and friends. Starting his comedy career in Houston, TX, he won Houston’s Funniest Person in 2011. After moving to Los Angeles in 2020, Taylor pushed forward through the pandemic, earning “Best in Fest” at the 2023 Burbank Comedy Festival. This led to Comedy Dynamics producing Theodore M.E.
