You can take the girl out of Australia, but you can’t take the Aussie out of the girl. Maria’s observations and friendly ‘Down Under’ style make her an audience favorite. Mix in growing up in a shack with a kangaroo, and then marrying a New York Jew, and you’ve hit ‘funny’. San Diego’s PL Life Magazine cover article called her animated style ‘fun to watch and simply hilarious’. Her credits include performing for the Troops in Afghanistan, Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Amsterdam Fringe Festival, Seattle International Comedy Competition and KUSI’s Good Morning San Diego. Maria produces ‘Comedy Heights’, which was voted best stand up comedy show on San Diego’s ‘A’ list in 2018. She’s an award winning journalist and former morning radio show co host and producer, who’s a regular at all of the clubs in San Diego, CA.
