Every weekend Producers Al Gavi and Maria Herman put together stand up comedy shows with lineups that are diverse, engaging and always fresh and funny. From comedians who are on their way to making it in LA, to San Diego favorites and touring comedians from all over the place. And last weekend’s feature comedian was no exception.

Keith Johnson is an LA Comedian from all over the place, but claims Florida and Washington DC as his homes. Keith just made his TV Debut for Kevin Hart presents ‘Hart of the City’ on Comedy Central. He cohosts a monthly show at the Hollywood Improv and is a regular at the Comedy Store in LA. His festival credits include Laughing Skull, and San Francisco Comedy Competition. Aside from standup, Keith is creating an animated series for Golf Media called Darius, and performs in the Mock Interview Series ‘Who TF is Darius?’, and also has a podcast called ‘The Exit Strategy’.

Comedy Heights performs every weekend. Friday Night’s 8pm show is at Bay Bridge Brewing Chula Vista and sports all manner of craft brews and lots of parking, and Comedy Heights at Twiggs on Saturday at 8pm sports no parking and BYO ‘whatever’ and it’s simply the best comedy show in San Diego.
