Jesse Egan headlines Friday at Bay Bridge Brewing.

San Diego comedian Jesse Egan hasn’t won the city’s favorite comedian title for no reason. He’s the consummate professional, combined with hilarious performer and likeable teddy bear. Yes, he’s furry and funny. Which is how Comedy Heights producers Al Gavi and Maria Herman prefer their performers. Even the ladies. But back to Jesse.

Jesse Egan started doing stand-up comedy after a summer road trip took him from his hometown of Arlington, Virginia to the west coast. He was named part of the Best of San Diego at The Comedy Store in La Jolla California and in 2014 Jesse won first place in San Diego’s Funniest Person contest.  He has toured the country performing at clubs, colleges, and churches, has opened for Dane Cook, Doug Stanhope, Chris D’Elia, and many more. Jesse hosted Tonight in San Diego on the CW6, and appeared on KPBS TV nationally and on PBS Radio. He’s also appeared on Union Tribune TV, Fox Rox TV, and in the stand-up comedy documentary film ‘Stage Time’. Jesse co-hosts two podcasts: Comics Talk Comedy and Sordid Tales the Podcast, and in his spare time likes to yell “YEY YAYEEE” like Ice Cube, at inappropriate times. And maybe you’ll hear him do just that at Comedy Heights Comedy Night at Bay Bridge Brewing on Friday night. Showtime 8pm. Doors open 6pm for early drinkers 😉
