Good news the doctor says you can go out this weekend!

Comedy Heights is back at Lestat’s this Friday and Saturday, November 6 and 7, with a lineup that includes a physical therapist, a veteran comedian and two more performers ready to help you forget about your week.

Dr. Laura Hayden is a practicing physical therapist, touring comedian and inspirational speaker who has discovered that laughter can be pretty good medicine. Laura finds humor in the strange, unexpected and sometimes ridiculous situations that come with everyday life. Her comedy combines sharp observations with an upbeat approach that reminds us there’s usually something funny to be found, even when life isn’t cooperating. And unlike most medical appointments, you can actually look forward to this one.

Nic Flair brings twelve years of stand-up experience to the Comedy Heights stage. A San Diego comedian, Nic draws his material from family, work, race and the everyday situations we all recognize but don’t always admit are funny. His credits include winning Pechanga Casino’s Funniest Comedian competition in 2011, appearances on Comedy Time TV and Hulu, and opening for established comedians including Sarah Tiana and Mark Christopher Lawrence.

Joining Laura and Nic are Jeff Anaya and Al Gavi, rounding out a weekend of stand-up with plenty of different personalities and perspectives. So if your week has been filled with work, bills, appointments or people who have absolutely no idea how annoying they are, we have a suggestion.

Get out of the house and come laugh with us!

Friday, November 6 and Saturday, November 7, 8 PM – Lestat’s, 3343 Adams Ave., San Diego. $5 cover, which converts to same-day café credit

Bring your spouse, your friends or that coworker who desperately needs to develop a sense of humor. We’ve got the comedians and the microphones. All we need is you! And remember, laughing for an evening is a lot cheaper than spending an hour telling a therapist why you’re not laughing.
