This past weekend, Comedy Heights delivered another strong Friday and Saturday night at Lestat’s, with Seth Lawrence leading a lineup that gave the room plenty to laugh about. Seth brought a smart, engaging energy to the stage — the kind of comic who knows how to pull an audience in without forcing it. His comedy had that nice balance of sharp writing, easy crowd connection, and well-timed punchlines that made both nights feel relaxed but never slow. The weekend lineup also featured Jamie Bliss and Dinaz on Friday, with Tom Jonze on Saturday, plus Lena Stone rounding out the shows. Each comic added something different, which is what keeps Comedy Heights from feeling like a formula. The audience got a real mix of styles, voices, and comic points of view. Lestat’s was once again the perfect setting for it. It’s intimate enough that every laugh feels close, but loose enough that the comics can play, adjust, and have fun with the crowd. That back-and-forth is what makes these shows feel less like a scheduled event and more like something you were lucky enough to catch. Comedy Heights continues to prove that a great comedy show doesn’t need flash or gimmicks. It needs funny people, a good room, and an audience ready to go along for the ride.
