Comedy Heights’ new Friday show in Chula Vista got off to a great start last week with headliner Tony Calabrese bringing out the laughs for friends of Comedy Heights who’ve been waiting to come to a show but didn’t want to brave University Heights to find a parking spot! Turns out there are a LOT of other fab things about Bay Bridge Brewing on a Friday. We thought the traffic was going to be a bust getting to the show by 630pm – but it was easy and there was indeed a TON of parking. Bay Bridge Brewing owners Jim and Sue Shirey are the nicest people you could hope to meet, and boy do they love beer! They have some fabulous little taster options so you can try a few different choices before you settle on your favorite. Outside the food tent was cooking up delicious chicken, and there was pulled pork for miles. It was hard to decide which. It was all very laid back and simple with beer and some fixin’s. Just add in the laughs and it made for a very relaxed and funny evening.
