Comedy Heights Brings Another Killer Weekend to Lestat’s on Adams Ave.

Comedy Heights keeps the laughs rolling this Friday and Saturday, July 10–11 at 8 PM at Lestat’s on Adams Ave, with a lineup packed with smart, sharp, and seriously funny comics. This weekend features Pippa Spindel and Mazdak Momen.

Pippa Spindel comes to Comedy Heights by way of Washington, DC — or Bethesda, Maryland, depending on how local you are. Now based in Los Angeles, Pippa has performed at clubs including the Hollywood Improv, Westside Comedy Theater, and The Crow, and was selected for SF Sketchfest, ABQ Funny Fiesta, and the DC Comedy Festival. She also hosts the indie stand-up show SuperSets Comedy and, impressively, has never started a podcast.

Mazdak Momen is an Iranian-American comedian and writer based right here in San Diego. He co-produces Slap Diego Comedy, regularly performs at Comedy Heights and Kacklez, and has appeared at the World Series of Comedy, Vermont Comedy Festival, and Comedy Chateau Festival. He started stand-up to combat inflation, which apparently did not work, but luckily for audiences, the jokes did.

The weekend also includes Don Lacy and Al Gavi on Friday, with Dane Anthony and Chrisy Castriota on Saturday, making this another strong Comedy Heights lineup from top to bottom. Come out for a night of real stand-up in one of San Diego’s best intimate comedy rooms. No arena nonsense. No two-drink minimum. Just great comics, a great crowd, and the kind of laughs that make the weekend feel like it started correctly.
