This Friday and Saturday: Alan Henderson Headlines Comedy Heights at Lestat’s on Adams Ave

This weekend at Comedy Heights at Lestat’s on Adams Ave, we’ve got a headliner who did not take the normal road to comedy. Alan Henderson is a San Diego native who grew up surfing, playing drums, chasing music, chasing waves, and probably chasing a few bad decisions around town, because comedy careers are not usually built by people who made every responsible choice. Then life threw him a turn nobody plans for. After a snowboarding accident in 2006, Alan’s path changed completely. Years later, he walked into his first live comedy show in San Diego, got hooked, worked on material, hit his first open mic in 2014, and never looked back. Now, thousands of shows later, Alan has become one of those comics who brings real life, sharp jokes, and a little “buckle up” energy to the stage. This is not polite little napkin-folding comedy. This is live, honest, fearless stand-up from a comic who knows how quickly life can change, and how hard a room can laugh when the right person is behind the mic. Catch Alan Henderson headlining Comedy Heights at Lestat’s on Adams Ave this Friday and Saturday night. Bring friends. Bring a date. Bring that one person who says, “I don’t usually go out,” and then complains there’s nothing fun to do. There is something fun to do. It’s this. See you this weekend at Comedy Heights at Lestat’s on Adams Ave.  $5 cover converts to same day cafe credit.
