This weekend at Comedy Heights at Lestat’s on Adams Ave we bring you the hilarious Margaret Star, Luis Villasenor, Mark Kraus. Viva Rose and Al Gavi.
Margaret Star is a singer/voice teacher, specializing in opera, musical theatre, and CCM styles. She currently performs musical stand-up comedy all over SoCal, and you can follow her on Instagram for more updated posts and event info: margaretsingsfunny
Luis Villaseñor was born February 6, 1983. He was the last-born child to two Mexican parents. He was raised in the streets of South Central Los Angeles, where he tormented his school teachers with constant jokes and quick comebacks. That was until the age of twelve, when his family moved to the city of Colton.
Mark Kraus is an LA native from Boyle Heights/East LA who brings a unique perspective to comedy as a Jewish/Japanese (Jewpanese) guy who everybody thinks is Mexican. After working for years as a Development Director for a nonprofit theater while raising 2 young daughters, he finally had a mid-life crisis and began doing comedy. His act covers everything from the trials of raising 2 girls, to smart, subversive social takes, and whatever else he genuinely thinks about and wants to share. He performs all over southern California but is excited about soon bringing his comedy to other parts of the country.
Doors open at 7:30pm with the shows starting at 8:00pm. $5 cover converts to same day cafe credit.
