A native San Diegan, Ryan has toured the US several times, as well as made television appearances on Hulu, TMZ and Union Tribune TV. In 2013 he was a finalist in the World Series of Comedy and in 2015 The Huffington Post called him “one of San Diego’s best and most prolific comics”. Known throughout the Southern California comedy scene for his long-form ranting style, Ryan has opened for acts such as Sarah Silverman, Craig Robinson, Jim Florentine and Brad Williams.
