Mark Schumacher and Steve Mazan make up the headlining and feature positions at both Comedy Heights shows this week. Producers Al Gavi and Maria Herman say “You can’t miss this week!” Both shows start 8pm. Friday’s show is at Bay Bridge Brewing in Chula Vista and Saturdays it’s at Twiggs on Park Blvd in University Heights where it all began 8 years ago. Steve Mazan is one of the most well travelled corporate comedians you may never have heard of, and Mark Schumacher is a motivational speaker, educator, comedian, husband and dad. He’s performed all over the country including New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, Washington DC, Seattle and Hawaii, and internationally in London and Paris. In 2015 he was selected as one of the top 100 comedians in the country and performed on NBC’s Last Comic Standing. He was voted Funniest Person in Orange County, was featured in the Orange County Register and written comedy for the Los Angeles Times. His unique experiences teaching – abroad for elementary students and in California as a high school teacher – in addition to traveling all over the world provide endless laughs.
